Feedback ! (the nice type!)
Feedback is something that most sound engineers try hard to avoid as, when working with a band, it usually means that a horrible sound is being created. Often our hard work, positive and helpful attitude is recognised by some very happy customers giving us positive feedback. It is really nice when this results in an E mail or letter thanking us for our services.
'All The Kit’ has now been up and running for a number of years and we have now accumulated a good number positive feedback comments. Christian, Just a quick note to thank you very much for your efforts last weekend. The idea of doing a party on the top of a hill, a mile from the nearest road and electrical plug seemed like a good idea when first concieved.... but thanks to you the sound and lighting wasn't one of the logistical feats that troubled us at all ! The underlit trees stole the show and were the most remarked upon feature of the evening and those speakers kept the woodland folk awake untill the wee hours !! Hello chaps, I just wanted to say how much I appreciated what you did on Saturday at St. Cross - you really made a big contribution to the four of us (and the guests) having a great time. The gear was great, and your no-fuss attitude was perfect. Perfect little gig for me really - lovely bunch of chaps, all the sound taken care of, nothing but champagne to drink, and an audience utterly bent on enjoying it. What more could anyone ask? Hello Nick and Chris, We wanted to say a big thankyou for helping to make the hall look and sound great for our wedding reception. The uplighters did a wonderful job creating a lovely atmosphere along with the "water" pattern on the ceiling. The disco speakers were excellent sound quality and the lighting and lazers truly came into their own with the smoke machine! Everything was so easy to work with no hitches or hassles. Its a credit to you that the lighting created the right environment with so many of our guests up and dancing and saying how the atmosphere took them back to clubbing and festival days. However, we do have to take the credit for the playlist that might have had something to do with it! Primal Scream, Stone Roses to name a couple along with Balearic beats, and trance and house anthems. Got a bit "hard" towards the end with the volume slide going up and up....! Fab - everyone dancing around like loons on a real nostalgia trip. We have had calls to make it an annual event (just the party -not the wedding !!), now we are more geographically spread and all with families its hard to meet up, so an annual bash with fab music is tempting.
