Stretch Tents

A flexible alternative to traditional marquees

We have been helping people to plan and create outstanding events since 2007. Based near Salisbury in Wiltshire, we have been offering stretch tent hire since 2018 after investing in our first stretch tents and have not looked back, as they are so versatile and look great. We now have a variety of designs and colours to suit different needs. Our largest tents, the Arachnid, can easily cater for over 200 guests, or over 300 seated theatre style.

We believe these fabulous stretch tents offer a unique style which will enhance any event, and break the mould of conventional marquees. Stretch tents are a wonderful and flexible alternative to traditional marquee hire. These freestyle structures are architecturally stunning and flexible enough to fit any area, cover uneven ground, or become part of a building and can be configured in countless ways. Freedom to choose the exact location, size and form means that the space designed for your special event is only limited by your imagination.

Another significant advantage is that at short notice we can rig the stretch tent with the sides down, sealed with a skirt and with clear door systems, or rigged up and open. So we can offer options depending on predicted weather forecasts.

Our Arachnid's comes in a chino colour, however we have increased our stock and can offer either chino or platinum in our other tents,

The Arachnid
Arachnid 2.png

The Arachnid is splendid creature indeed! Octagon-shaped and 20m in diameter, RHI’s Arachnid is a beauty to behold and a striking addition to our collection of tents. The Arachnid creates 330m² of cover.

The flexible nature of this tent means it is possible to have all eight entrances open or closing as many as desired. This closing-down system is achieved with clear windows or solid panels – depending on the weather, occasion, or desired “flow” of guests – This system also means the tent can be completely closed down without loosing space as is the case with other stretch tents.

The images below will give you an idea of the different ways in which can you can layout the inside of the tent - We can also offer all sorts of lighting options. Just give us a call to discuss!

Frequently asked questions

Are the Stretch Tents waterproof?

Yes, the fabric used is known as 'MK4' and is the latest generation of fabric technology. The seams of these RHI  stretch tents are both stitched and sealed together to ensure they are 100% waterproof. Where the tents are joined together we use the latest linking technology which provides a water-tight guttering system.

Do they have to go over a flat surface?

No... This is where our stretch tents come into their own as they can simply follow the contour of the land. We can easily work around obstacles such as steps which would  be problematic for traditional marquees. Do give us a call and we would be delighted to carry out a site visit to provide further advice.

How much do they cost?

The rates for hiring of our stretch tents vary depending upon size and complexity of the project, but as a rough guide prices start from about £10.00 per square meter

What if its going to be wet or windy

If the weather forecast is looking horrid then we can simply hunker down the sides to make a cosy interior space – We can fit our transparent doors, add a skirting to the tent and also provide a heater if required.

What other equipment will I need?

Our Stretch tents look great on their own but you may wish to consider adding other equipment which we can also provide such as:

Please give us a call and we would be happy to put together a package for you

When will you come and install our tent?

We know that you are likely to want the Stretch tent to be in place in plenty of time to enable you to add decorations and get other things in place. We will work with you to ensure that the tents are erected and taken down at times that works for all.

What sizes do your tents come in?

We have a wide range of stretch tents in different colour and size options. From small 5m x 6m tents ideal for things like bars, through to our biggest single structure the 20m x 20m Arachnid. We can also link tents which increases space to accommodate guest numbers.

What areas do you cover?

We are based near Salisbury in Wiltshire, but can provide these superb stretch tents in all areas of the South of England including Hampshire, Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Avon, Surrey, Sussex, and London to name a few.
